Check in/out & Breakfast.

Please remember that our home is a small B&B not a hotel. We are a husband and wife team only and we do everything personally. This means that we can not be home to greet you at certain times. To avoid arriving at the house when we are not home please observe our check in times below.

Check in is possible during the following times only.

Monday to Friday Inclusive.

4.00pm - 9.00pm

(16.00hrs - 21.00hrs)

Saturday and Sunday

2.00pm - 7.00pm

(14.00hrs - 19.00hrs)

Check out time is 10.30am on all days.

Guests who would like to drop off bags early are welcome to do so between 10.00am and 11.00am daily.

Rooms are ready for occupation at the same time as our check in times.

Guests who would like to park before check in time to make the most of their day are also welcome to do so. On street parking becomes free at 12.00 noon Monday - Friday & is free all day on weekends. We also ask previous guests to vacate our car park by 12.00 noon.

Guests who would like to leave bags with us on their final day for a last look at the City are also welcome to do so but we do have to ask that they are collected within our check in times for that day. For example if you leave a bag with us on a weekday morning it can only be collected between 4pm and 9pm later that day.

Breakfast Menu

Served between 8.00 am - 9.00 am daily.

Full English breakfast
Omelettes with a choice of fillings.
Eggs Benedict.
Mushrooms Benedict.
Bacon and Eggs.
Smoked fish and poached eggs.
Cereals, toast, fruit juice, yoghurts.
Vegetarian sausages are also available.
Gluten free sausages and bread with 48 hours notice.
We usually have soya milk but please check in advance to make sure.

Guests checking out before breakfast time can be provided with a breakfast bag containing croissants and orange juice.

For the evening - We do not serve evening meals but Canterbury has a very large selection of Restaurants, bars and public houses. We are a two minute walk from a Bar which serves bar food and ten minutes walk from two food serving public houses. We also have a fish and chip shop next door to the house and Canterbury has a wide range of establishments who will deliver food free of charge. Guests are very welcome to eat take away food in our dining room in the evening, the dining room also has a small lounge area with digital TV and tea/coffee making facilities (We do ask guests not to eat in our bedrooms please).
